We had a good time. The campground was very clean. The issue I had was we couldn’t cancel a reservation. We had no cell service and the host couldn’t do anything for us. We told the host we weren’t going to use the site and they rented out to someone else. So the site was paid for twice. We drove to an area with cell service and called recreation.gov. I was told the hold that me was 79 minutes. I requested a callback and never got one.

I love this campground. It is much more spacious than the other two campgrounds down the road, and the area is beautiful. The camp host kept the bathrooms spotless and was very helpful. I stayed in site 18, which is right by the road, but I like the views and access to the creek from there. After 8:00 pm, there is hardly any traffic. It's in the top five of my favorite campgrounds in Colorado.

Beautiful campground! Host was super friendly, bathrooms/grouds were really clean and everyone was super respectful of others with noise. What else could you need!

Campsite was clean and amenities were close by. Wish there was a bit more shade but overall great experience. We will most likely be back. Loved how close to water we were!

Stayed at site 21. A bit of road noise but that wasn’t an issue after dark. Site is a bit close to site 2 but there’s no one on the other side. Couldn’t get the water pump to work but I brought my own anyway. Super clean bathrooms and convenient to St. Elmo. Was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Will definitely stay again.

Wonderful campground with excellent campsites. All have great level tent pads and easy to pull or back into sites.

I loved my days spent at cascade. I will definitely be back. I could never get the hand pump to work, so I had to really conserve water and go buy some in town when I got low. Also the camp host wasn’t as attentive as other Explorus campgrounds I’ve stayed.
