Our camp host, Randy, was awesome and so much fun! We had the entire end of the campground to ourselves for 2 nights. So nice! My 3rd time at Chalk Lake. Will obviously be back.

Overall a great place to camp and the area is beautiful. The spots were spaced well apart from each other with lots of trees and bushes for separation. We camped in #16 with a 25' travel trailer. Spot was a little close to the road, but again, shielded with bushes so plenty of privacy. The facilities were kept very clean and the host was friendly and informative. Close to Bridal Veil Falls (just across the road), short walk to Chalk Lake, and a short drive for hiking Colorado Trail and Mt. Princeton. If you like relaxing to the sound of running water, Chalk Creek runs through the campground. I would definitely visit again.

The tent location for campsite 11 is located too close to the fire pit area for campsite 10.
