Randy the host of the campsite was wonderful to talk with! If you are unsure where to go or what to see talk to him! We really enjoyed going to the Cottonwood Hot Springs as well!

This is an amazing campground. It is disappointing how booked it is 6 months in advance only to arrive and find several spots available. The reservation system needs to be reviewed.

Very clean campground. Post was very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely go back! I would say the spaces are close together.

Randy, the campground host was wonderful! He was very friendly and provided ideas on what to do. I ended up taking the gentle hike along the old railroad path thanks to his recommendation. I also realized the Colorado Trail passes not too far away (on the road (CR 200?) to the railroad path). The bathrooms smelled fine, and the other campers were very respectful. The site was beautiful! Just a short flight of steps from the parking area to a beautiful spot by the creek. There were a couple mosquitos, but nothing too bad. The bear lockers are also a great addition, so everything doesn't have to go back to the car. It was a beautiful, friendly place to which I'd happily return!
