Camp host is excellent. Put toilets were well kept. Great access to area trails. Only downside is full sun exposure at some sites so plan accordingly.

The wind prevented the enjoyment of the stay. Being in a pop-up camper I was concerned the damage that might be caused by 60 mph gusting winds. Overall, it's a great campground and the spot was perfect for being away from neighbors and long enough for my trailer. I hope to return again under less windy conditions.

From Westcliffe, CO, take State Route 69 south 3 mi to the campground sign (County Road 140). Turn right and go 1.8 mi to the stop sign. Continue straight through the stop sign for 2.8 mi until you hit another stop sign (RD 141). Turn left onto RD...
From Westcliffe, CO, take State Route 69 south 3 mi to the campground sign (County Road 140). Turn right and go 1.8 mi to the stop sign. Continue straight through the stop sign for 2.8 mi until you hit another stop sign (RD 141). Turn left onto RD 141 and continue 2.1 mi to campground.
(Note: RD 141 becomes dirt/gravel after 0.4 mi.)

- Campground limits: 8 people per site, with options for 2 tents and 2 vehicles or 1 RV.

- Store food securely to avoid attracting bears; keep food out of sight and remove after use.

- Only certified weed-free hay is allowed at the campground.

- Electric hookups are not provided at this campground.
- Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
