Meticulously maintained campground! Site was clean and sand was raked on arrival. Check in was easy and the gentleman at the desk was very welcoming. Campground was very quiet even though it was full. Restrooms were clean and had running water.
Much better than the state parks I stayed at before this, I’ll definitely be back!

This is an outstanding campground. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. The facility is always clean and quiet. It has outstanding hiking trails. It is very scenic. We try to camp here at least once a year if we can. Our only complaint continues to be that it closes so early in the year. Fall camping in New England is the best and unfortunately this campground is not available in the fall.

Very nice for campground. great for hiking and kayaking. Wish they had more sites as it is very hard to get a site here.

Beautiful, small campground with large, private, level sites. Flower beds at entrance are gorgeous. I stayed 13 nights and enjoyed the trail system. There’s one bathhouse with one shower per gender. Hosts keep it clean and stocked.
So, why 3 stars? The hot water in shower is erratic. It’s hot for a minute or two, but then goes cold.

Beautiful wooded and spacious campsite. Quiet and clean. Hosts were excellent. Hiking trails were well marked and groomed. We wanted a get away weekend to relax and it did not disappoint. Strategically located for day trips if desired.
