THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME!!! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The scenery was beautiful. The lake and pool was beautiful. The food was delicious. Everything about this was totally worth the 3 hour car ride to and back. I will definitely be returning next summer

The actual campground and amenities were lovely. Unfortunately, the awful interaction we had with the "yellow hat guide" at the beginning of our stay soured the whole trip for us.

Our "guide" seems to have seen that my wife and I were a young couple, and immediately judged us harshly for that fact. We followed his golf cart to our campsite and got undressed, because we were told to expect that we would need to take the tour in the nude. He asked if it was our first time at a nudist resort, and reacted with visible skepticism when we told him it wasn't, and that we'd been to several other places in our travels.

He then noticed that my body had had a nonvolitional reaction to getting undressed with my wife. A *kinder* soul might have responded to this by asking if I needed a minute before beginning the tour. Unfortunately for us, this man took that as a reason to deliver us a lecture on how I "couldn't be walking around like that" because "people would get real upset" and "some folks have kids."

Again, this was while we were still at our private campsite. I had not "chosen" to walk around anywhere. I was told I had to, and then punished for not being immediately ready for it.

To top it off, after this lecture he asked if we were excited for our stay, and then had the gall to give my wife a hard time for not being sufficiently *enthusiastic* in her response.

I don't remember this particular man's name, only that he had a prosthetic leg. But reading reviews of Solair after the fact, it looks like I'm not the first to have a negative experience with the "yellow hats." So fair warning, if you attend Solair for the first time, you might need to be prepared to be guided around by a judgmental busybody.

---

Over the course of our stay, we heard several older regulars lamenting the fact that there were so few young people visiting these days, especially young families. To Solair management: I would suggest that if you value getting younger generations to visit Solair, have a talk with your guides about how those younger visitors are treated.

Solair is a wonderful resort with lots of things to do. I have been here now twice as a guest and love to atmosphere of the resort and the people are very nice. Being able to be nude while swimming in the pool and in the sun is amazing. There are many people with all different age groups, it has more of an older crowd but younger people are also there as well. Highly recommend Solair!

My wife and I visited Solaire for the first time last weekend and we loved it. The services, pool, hot tub, activities and the rest of the amenities were all fantastic.

We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are going back tomorrow to meet up with some newly made friends.

Great place to enjoy sans clothes. Learned Pickle ball here and love to play weekends with the group. The people are so friendly. Great New England place. We loved it so much we became associate members. One drawback when staying over, most cabins don’t have a bathroom. Need to use common bathrooms which are nice but I like to have it in my room. The restaurant has good food, but only open weekends and holidays. Cabins do have grills, refrigerators, and pots and pans.
