Between Recreation.gov and the campground, nobody seemed willing to help me create a better experience by changing my campsite. They are TOO hands off at the campground regarding the reservations!!! The campground was well maintained, but I had a family of toddlers (5 of them!) screaming through the night next door! All I wanted was an escape from the world, isn’t that why we camp??

Campsite was very clean and the team there was fantastic. We were concerned our neighbors would have a crazy New Years party, but they took care of it. Would love to stay there again.

We camped for four nights Sunday-Thursday. We enjoyed our stay so much. We went swimming in the springs, hiked through the woods, picked oranges nearby (short drive away) to make fresh squeezed orange juice... Tent camping with little kids was a success!

We had a great experience at Alexander Springs! We stayed over the Christmas holidays at campsite 26. Campsites are very spacious, well maintained and staff are always busy (and very friendly!) taking care of the maintenance of the whole campground and recreation area. I appreciate the strictness of whether the rules are respected in terms of no trailer stands on the forest soil. We all have to do our part to keep nature as beautiful as it is. Bathrooms are clean and every evening we had hot shower water, that's pure wellness at a chilly evening in December! Thank you for a wonderful stay at Alexander Springs, keep up the good work!
