Nice, but not quite as lovely as Juniper Springs. Very noisy generators running from what looks like a permanent , very messy campsite right in front of the bathrooms.

Nice campground in the southern end of the Ocala National Forest. There are no hookups at individual sites. Quiet hours (no generator) are from 10pm to 6am. Sites are large with extra room for tents. However, the park is old and showing its age. The roads and the sites are paved, but the paving job is deteriorating. Bathhouses are clean and functional, but very outdated. The vegetation is in need of trimming. there is a bit of road noise from CR445 in front of the park. The springs are a popular watering hole, but there is nothing else nearby.

Hosts in Loop B site is trashy and messy, looks like a swap meet with all the items and tarps. Was nit a plus anyone wanted to walk up to gor assistance. Bathrooms and showers on Loop D were disgusting. Staff said they had been cleaned everyday but there was no way, especially when the Loop was only 1/4 full. The recreation /spring area had Garbage everywhere and wasnt cleaned up daily. The office staff were very nice but that's the only real positive along with our site was nice and large.

Had a great experience with the family! Our site was right next to the restrooms and showers which was a a huge plus. Just remember to bring extra money for firewood or bring your own as the price is pretty high at $10 a bag.
