The campground is awesome! Perfectly set up to be able to accommodate two tents, cooking area and leisure activity areas. Plenty of space and trees between you and other campsites so you don't feel like you're camping in a parking lot. The springs are beautiful, canoeing absolutely amazing, awesome fishing! Camp staff was helpful and everything was in tip top shape. I do wish they would get the concession opened back up though. It was everything we were looking for! We've been trying to get out there to camp for years but have been unable to make a reservation. I know why now! It is the best campground in the Ocala National Forest, hands down. We'll be back!

Beautiful campground and spring. Clean bathrooms. We had a total of 20 people camping across 5 sites close together for Easter weekend and it was perfect! We have camped here 3 times now and will be back

Alexander spring is a great park to spend a weekend or even a week. You can reserve a camping site with a fire pit, picnic table and barbecue grill. There are showers and hot water for your convenience. The spring is huge and ideal for kids because it has a wide area that is not very deep. There is canoe and kayak rentals at the site. There is ice and firewood for sale at the entrance. I have been there 2 times and I will bring my kids again! Looking forward to visiting the new store 💚

I camped for two weeks - what a beautiful area.
The campground, day use area, and swimming hole are wonderful.
I recommend that the admission system be changed. As a registered camper at the Alexander Springs campground, I was asked to pay an additional fee to enter any other camp area within the Ocala National Forest and I find that to be very strange.
