This was a nice park. The spring was beautiful, especially early in the day before the general public filled the area. My campsite was large and the pad for my vehicle and trailer was paved and level, although it was a bit narrow. Potable water was available at numerous locations along the campground road. Park volunteers were friendly as was the staff. My main complaint was that the water temperature in the showers cannot be controlled by the user and was scalding hot. I can manage a hot shower, but this was too hot for me to stand in for more than a few seconds at a time. I think small children would be in danger. My only other complaint is one the park system can't help and that's the traffic noise on loops A, C, and D. It's a shame because it does take away from the overall enjoyment of the camping experience there.

We had a fun, relaxing weekend at Alexander Spring! Our campsite was large and clean, and the bathrooms and showers are well maintained. The firewood was for sale on site and very affordable. The spring itself was beautiful and clear. We will definitely return.

Everyone at Alexander Springs is nice and very helpful. The sites are big, and there's a lot of privacy. And the bathrooms are clean. The whole experience was a lot of fun. I have only 3 recommendations: 1) The showers were scalding hot. There was no way to change the temperature. 2) We were in tents, and it was nearly impossible to drive a stake into the ground. I had to borrow a hammer from another camper, and still had much difficulty getting my stakes in. 3) The large number of rocks on the site made tent camping uncomfortable. We spent a lot of time moving as many rocks as possible. For the price of tent-camping at Alexander Springs, I would think sites would be a little more conducive to tent campers.

We loved our stay at Alexander springs. Clean bathrooms, hot showers. Friendly staff. Beautiful spring! Plan accordingly for any shopping because they closest town with supplies is about 20 miles south on route 19.

Beautiful park. Quiet natural setting. Day use area was very nice with quite a few picnic tables and benches. Bathhouse was clean. Camping sites were very spacious. Loved it!

Very nice place. Very clean. Some of the sites are a little close together for my tastes, but a good campsite overall.
