Friendly Staff who answered any questions I have of the campground or the area.
Well maintained bathroom facilities, and property.
Wife and I had a great stay there and would book it again next year!
Thanks WP

#30 faces the Big Dipper at night. Close to the boat ramp at day. Loved the family time and was such a blessing.

This is our first ever reservation at an Army Corps of Engineers Campground. BEAUTIFUL and peaceful with stunning sunsets! The area is very well kept and has very clean restroom facilities. Sites are spacious and with a covered picnic table and fire grilling pit. All of the staff Volunteers are so friendly and helpful on-site, THANK YOU Mike and Bob! Lots of wild life around, loved the turtles! Fun to see the boat traffic going thru the locks. Really enjoying our stay, wish we discovered it years ago! Can't wait to come back! 🐢

Franklin Lock campground had a laundry room years ago and would benefit from having it back. Also, Wi-Fi is needed. Had a great site (24) and enjoyed seeing the pair of woodpeckers in their nest there.

Small, but nice waterfront campground. Sites are all level, paved, and have a covered picnic table. Some sites have shade at least part of the day. Nice fishing pier and boat ramp available. Restroom needs some TLC, but was clean. Camp host was available and friendly.
