Visitors flock to W.P. Franklin Campground for its well-kept facilities and location on the Caloosahatchee River, where campers can fish, boat and take it easy in sunny southwest Florida.
The campground, about 10 mi east of Fort Myers, provides visitors with a taste of tranquil, tropical country life.
Nearby Telegraph Creek, offers exciting opportunities to canoe Florida's backcountry swamps and view wildlife.

This is our 2nd visit to W.P. Franklin N campground, just as good as our 1st visit three years ago. 1) Well-spaced campsites,
2) Always clean restrooms/showers,
3) Convenient location to Ft. Myers Beach. Many restaurants, that survived Hurricane Ian, have reopened; our favorite is Doc Fords. Margaritaville is thriving, Times Square is slowly but surely recovering.
Lots of rebuilding apparent.
