The camp hosts are excellent. They engage with all campers and keep a close eye on the campground. Since it is a remote location they make it safe. Bath house facilities kept clean. We had Site 1 with beautiful view of lake.

Off the beaten path, quiet for a campground, and very well maintained. Hosts were all great to talk to, and treat the guests very well. I will be back as soon as I can! Awesome place to stay during hunting season with the hunt camps all full, and dispersed sites not allowed in the forest.

Camel Lake is a wonderful park and would love to go again. The Camphost wasn’t good. They didn’t clean the sites, fire pits or bathrooms. He was rude and we did not have a peaceful time there because of him. I would like to come back but not if that host is there. Ranger was very nice and polite but host was not.

Nice small clean quiet CG on the edge of Camel Lake. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Be aware that this CG is 50 miles from the coast in a huge boggy very remote pine forest . Nearest gas and convenience is 20-25 minutes away.

Amazing experience at this campground. Such a beautiful site. Take the trail around the lake at sunrise hour, you won't regret it!!! Found the gnome that the host placed along the trail :)
