Although this was a one night layover on our way home, did enjoy our stay. Friendly host, site clean, grounds in perfect condition, nice relaxing atmosphere, beautiful sunsets. Facilities are a bit dated but functional. For those expecting a Holiday Inn experience, go to a Holiday Inn. Will definitely come back for a longer stay!

As far as our site and the campground, excellent! Our timing this year … hot, humid, BUGS everywhere … not so much. Thank God for our camper & A/C; tent camping would’ve been a nightmare. We’ve stayed, before, same time of year, a couple years ago … absolutely wonderful! No fuss, no bugs, and great weather. 🤷♀️

Host did not actually clean the restrooms most of the week we were there. Simply replaced the toilet paper. I cleaned the sink to make it somewhat usable. The showers were filthy to the point of unusable. Campsites we not cleaned. We cleaned up litter and cleaned out the fiepit ourselves. A new host is needed.

Nice, quiet campground with lake view sights. Trail around the lake is well maintained.

We rely on camp bathrooms and this one is a bit odd. The shower particularly wastes a lot of water as the flow sprays everywhere but on you when you stand under it. Many tent campers and families means this one stall unit gets a heavy work out. Better than nothing but just a better shower head would help a ton. The park is nice with good beach and pleasant trail. Very small and heavy rain flooded area and drive in while we were there. Quiet was wonderful

The lake is beautiful. The trail around the lake was a big hit with our 5 year old grandson! ( He loved looking for the gnomes) The campground host and his wife are friendly and helpful!
