Everyone was very friendly. Place was clean. Roads are a little small but manageable.

I’m shocked this place doesn’t have a higher rating. Ignore all the ones about hurricane damage because I was just there for a few days and it was gorgeous! Clean, well kept with lots of mature vegetation. The lake lots and canal lots are both fantastic. I stayed on the canal but would probably do the lake next time as they have lit up fountains which are beautiful at night for ambiance. We biked to town(easy drive) and the beach for sunset. Pool and hot tub were clean and a great temp. We did laundry and there were lots of machines. I’m having a hard time finding somewhere they need improvement! Would definitely stay again! Thank you to all the friendly staff too.

This is a beautiful park in a lively area. It was damaged by Hurricane Milton and as of March 2025, the pool, clubhouse, bath houses and laundry are not yet available. But I'm looking forward to returning again. Even without all these features it's still a very nice, quiet park.

We stayed there for 4 nights over Presidents’ Day weekend. The campground was very clean and the people were very friendly and accommodating. It’s a beautiful place. We enjoyed walking around the campground with the dog at night. Also close to the beach that just opened back up. Great place for a sunset.
The no see ums near the river ate us alive the first night but we used bug spray the rest of the nights with no issue.
Also note the bathrooms and clubhouse are out of commission for the foreseeable future. Recommend this place overall though.

A good campground if you have kids. They were in the pool unsupervised and flying around on golf carts at times. Kids in hot tub in rafts. No staff around too correct those issues. Pool was dirty from Friday to Monday. The pool company showed up on Monday and cleaned it. The hot tub worked on Friday, but was broke (no heat) on Saturday and Sunday. It was fixed Monday afternoon. Great location. The bathrooms were newly remodeled. The grounds were clean. There are a lot of permanent trailers there. Some are awesome. I probably would go back for the location and being a Thousand Trail member.
