Salt Springs is one of our favorite springs in Florida. The head spring is large and very clear. Some areas are shallow enough to stand up and others are deep, depending on the time of year and rainfall. The campsites are clean with fire pits and the park staff makes sure no one is too loud after 10pm. It's a fantastic place for families. There's also an amazing pizza/ Italian restaurant almost across the street (maybe 1/4 mile away) which has great food, especially the garlic knots and lasagna. I highly recommend this state park.

Beautiful, large spaces with great full hookups. Hiking trails plus the springs make this one of the best forest service camps we’ve ever visited!

Campground had full hookups. Wide open, no foliage in-between campsites. However it was quiet. Salt springs was wonderful! Small town with a laundromat and restaurant across the street

Nice campground. Shaded full hookup sites. Also have a number of first come sites as well. Spring was great to cool off in. Large picnic area at the spring. No beach, just walk down the steps to the water.
Weekdays were quiet, got pretty busy on the weekend. Staff seemed attentive and the campground was clean.
