Salt Springs Recreation Area is a very well laid out facility. Hosts appeared to take their jobs seriously, "inviting" one exceptionally loud group to depart early, making the campground much more pleasant for the rest of us.

Our experience at Salt Springs Recreation Area was nothing short of enchanting, especially as we chose to stay in the primitive tent area. Despite our rustic choice, the facilities were exceptional, showcasing a commitment to quality that extended even to the more secluded corners of the campground.
The pristine condition of the tent area mirrored the overall cleanliness of the grounds. It was evident that the staff's dedication to maintenance and cleanliness extended to every nook and cranny, ensuring a comfortable stay even in the midst of nature.
The proximity to the breathtaking spring pool was a highlight. Waking up to the allure of the crystal-clear waters, just a small walk away from our tents, was a surreal experience. The tranquil ambiance of the primitive tent area, coupled with the mesmerizing beauty of the spring pool, created an atmosphere that was both serene and invigorating.
Additionally, being in the tent area didn’t detract from the excellent service provided by the award-winning staff. They were just as attentive and accommodating, catering to our needs and ensuring our stay was nothing short of delightful.
Salt Springs Recreation Area offers a seamless blend of natural beauty and superb amenities, making it a haven for campers seeking both adventure and comfort. Staying in the primitive tent area allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of this remarkable place while still enjoying the fantastic facilities and warm hospitality.

The manager at salt spring RV camping grounds is incredibly rude and disrespectful to the guests . I would not recommend this location bc of the incredibly poor temperament of the manager.

This was a nicely kept campground with a vigilante staff! The springs were also nice - easy to get into, and a huge picnic area. Not a great deal of parking, but it was November so there was not a problem for us.
