Great campground. Will definitely be back!
Sites are spaced out, clean, grassy areas and plenty trees around but no privacy. Great to walking and enjoying the springs that I saw many fish and blue crabs… bring your own goggles.

Pleasant surrounds and the Rangers are most helpful. The Spring is beautiful and very refreshing. Clean rest facilities and very roomy. I wish the restrooms had hooks! I don't understand the thing with parks and no hooks in the restrooms?!? We are all travelers hand carrying our toiletries,.. yet no place to put your towel, ditty bag, wash cloth, clothes. The counter is not always the answer or the place...

The bath houses only have hot water. When you take a shower you almost get burned the wither is so hot. I complained to the Camp Host & Rangers and was told there was nothing they can do that the water comes out of the ground that way. That’s crazy, if you have regular water temp going to the campsites you can have it go to the bath house.

The camp sites were close to one another. Access to water and electric was provided at each site. For the main day of our trip the bathrooms were not accessible because they were doing water main work through out the hook up camp sites.

We arrived the day of our planned family trip and we’re notified that we weren’t on the site that we booked in advance. We booked site 31 for 3 nights , which was next to our families site. They moved us to site 48 that is absolutely not a good spot with out any notice. We received nothing in advance letting us know of the change or even asking us if we would want to cancel the site due to the change in site location. We were told we could pick a site along the first row as you come into the park. We drove around , picked the site went back to the office and requested the site that we wanted, which was site 101 and we were told we could not get that site because there was a water issue, with that being said, the young woman running, the desk, wrote down some site numbers on a piece of paper and we drove around once again and picked another site 24 which wasn’t the best site either. I still have confirmation from Recreation.gov stating that I stayed in site number 31 for three days , I have notification from Recreation.gov saying that my upcoming trip was site 31 for three days. I also have notification from recreation.gov that once a site is reserved, You cannot change the site so with this being said, my question is how come when we got to the campground our site was changed with no notification , or even the option prior to arriving to pick a different site the campground just assumed that we would like the site that they gave us which was a terrible site number 48 hot and miserable. Anyways, I’ve camped at this campground multiple times and never had these issues. Unfortunately, this left a bad taste in our mouths and we will probably most likely never visit here again it was awful and I would never leave a review like this but unfortunately the situation arose and somebody needs to do something about this. I feel like I should be refunded my money without any questions asked.
