Love this park. What I don’t love is that cell service is limited to non existent. The wifi that used to be at the gate has been removed by new management. The office POS was also out. No internet service. So if you didn’t have cash, you had to leave the park to purchase anything.
Unless you are. Verizon customer. You may want to reconsider.

This is a good campground but their price increase recently puts it on par with Florida's great state parks. We usually stop here every year on our wat to and back from the Everglades. The massive turnover on employees makes service marginal.

The front gate process was quick and polite.
However;……..
The clean up crew were on a power trip. They jumped at the opportunity to enforce any rule infraction. Their aggressive police officer attitude of questioning was over the top.
I will not return.

Very peaceful. Everyone that worked there was amazing from check out, at the spring, and camp host. Everything was extremely clean, like bathrooms and even the sites.

Excellent spring and campground. Howerver, we had a campground manager staying next to us that would just STARE at you and not let our 3 and 5 year olds throw water balloons at each other on a 88 degree day.

Beautiful place to camp. 90% of the sites are shaded and are of good size. Definitely going again

The management staff is too involved/invasive. Salt Springs is a natural resource cared for via tax payers. It’s essentially owned by the public who pays for its upkeep. After my last stay I can’t help but think the management company and its staff should be reminded that they’re in place as stewards of the park. Staff should be just as available for questions and booking help as they are when they notice a car tire on a 2” section of grass. Seems they’re under the misconception that they’re main purpose is rule enforcement and have forgotten they are serving customers whose tax dollar pays their salary.

This is a lovely park. Well maintained and beautiful. The spring is outstanding. I would recommend bringing a kayak or canoe as there are a limited amount of rentals available at the nearby local marina.
