Gorgeous campsites under live oaks (some with water, some not so check that), great bathrooms & access to the gorgeous water - great base to have while exploring this amazing Ocala National forest - we’ll be back (& we were there early March). Great weather!

The camping is second to none, and we made new friends! The grounds are extremely clean, and the sites are some of the bests I have come across throughout the country. The campground has everything you need, and it is surrounded by some of the most beautiful areas within Florida. I recommend this wonderful and relaxing spot to everyone! Oh, our Plott Hound loved it too!

This park is one of the best we have ever camped at. All of the sites are large and I would say most of them are level. Restrooms and showers were kept very clean. I was very impressed.

The Salt Springs campground is an excellent place to stay while visiting the springs. Particularly helpful is that there are both reserved and first come first serve camp sites.
