Reasonably priced.
Pretty area.
1 hiking trail of 1.3 miles at the park.
Unfortunately no running water at the site, even though the booking showed it did.
Campsites are close to each other and we unfortunately were right beside people up late partying and vulgarity every other word.

Salt Springs Recreation Area is a beautiful park and the grounds are well kept. I like the peaceful feel and the gated setup. However, for the price, the primitive campground feels a bit high. The showers were clean, but they have beach-style rinse heads with extremely strong pressure that actually hurts, and the water wasn't hot at all. That was really disappointing. Also, the pedestrian gate button didn't work early in the morning before the gate opened, which caused an issue when trying to walk out.

Great campground with full hookups. Beautiful spring. The only negative is the terrible roads in the primitive area.

If you are looking for a nice, quiet, clean campground, then look no further, Salt Springs is it! Sites are roomy and clean. We had an issue with the electric panel when we arrived, but they were able to fix it within an hour and were very helpful. We would come back!
