The campsites are level and of a good size. The bathrooms were clean and offered shower facilities and a separate sink area for washing dishes. The springs are great for swimming/soaking, and kayaking below the swim area. This is a great park. I would recommend this park and I hope to return for a stay in the future

Our absolute favorite campground. Located in the Ocala National Forest with very easy sites to park your camper (on level asphalt).

Great location. Lovely quiet campground. We had 2 different sites and neither were great, but they were okay. Bathrooms were good and conveniently located.

Nice layout, plenty of space for hanging out. Very quiet and clean. The pads could be larger but happy every time we go there.

Salt Springs is my first choice of campgrounds to visit. There is so much to do starting with the springs and then moving to hiking and then the forest. There are other places to visit locally for day trips. The campground itself is the perfect place to stay, with full hookup, nice clean sites. The whole place is kept clean, bathrooms cleaned everyday. It always amazes me that that many campsites can be full of campers and yet be quiet. Salt Springs Recreation is the perfect place to stay. Keep up the good work.

Our site 26 had a bad 50 amp breaker and hosts were unable to get someone there to fix it. They had to move us to a host site, which turned out just fine. This is the finest Forest Svc
campground we have been to. Only complaint was there is no parking for the showers in the full hookup sites. That would be bad for someone with mobility issues. Had to go to the primitive camping for a shower as it had parking.
