Salt Springs Recreation Area is a beautiful park and the grounds are well kept. I like the peaceful feel and the gated setup. However, for the price, the primitive campground feels a bit high. The showers were clean, but they have beach-style rinse heads with extremely strong pressure that actually hurts, and the water wasn't hot at all. That was really disappointing. Also, the pedestrian gate button didn't work early in the morning before the gate opened, which caused an issue when trying to walk out.

Springs were fantastic.
A large party had amplified music, which was very disturbing

If you are looking for a nice, quiet, clean campground, then look no further, Salt Springs is it! Sites are roomy and clean. We had an issue with the electric panel when we arrived, but they were able to fix it within an hour and were very helpful. We would come back!

Fun and clean facilities, that being said my wife went to ladies room twice and had no tissue paper . For 38 a night tent camping that’s completely not acceptable. Thanks!

The park is beautiful, but I have a hard time understanding what makes it is $74 a night. Except for being full hookup, it doesn’t offer much more than the state parks do at $22 a night. The sites are paved, but they aren’t all leveled. Like many state parks, the spring is available to campers, it is quite a hike, though. The bath house is well kept.

Great clean park. Lots of room between sites. Well kept. We only wish there was a dog park.

This was our first time here. We have a 35ft 5th wheel and a F-450. We were in site 37, the site was very nice and had enough room to unhook our truck. The only issue was the drop off at the pavement on the camping side. The spring was great and the bear swamp trail was very nice.

The campground and campsite were clean, in good working order, and the interior area was clean.
