Salt Springs is an awesome place to visit and stay. I wish it was still under ranger control. We’ll see how the second or third management company works out though.

The springs are gorgeous and seem warm during the winter. There were lots of fish, and surprising to me … blue crabs.
The campsites were spacious, ours was level although some of the FCFS ones had a slope.
We had a great time with friends. They did say the showers were lukewarm, we used our RV so no personal experience on that. The bath houses were cleaned at least twice a day while we were there.
