Great staff, location and site. Only problem was ants got in our camper. They were everywhere. It was awful. We had to buy a killer and place it inside our camper in multiple spots. When we talked to another person that had camped there in the past, they said it was that way before, and they spray everything from their camper that touches the ground as soon as they get there. That would’ve been good to know.

Had a great time at Ortona South COE campground. Easy to use flat site with electric and water. Clean restrooms. Beautiful views of the Okeechobee waterway and locks. And the Thanksgiving Day potluck was an extra bonus.

CAMPSITES CLEAN WELL LAID OUT. BATH/SHOWER HOUSE VERY CLEAN. MOST SITES COULD USE MANY MORE SHADE TREES. OOPS Sorry about cap lock being on. Still hate sites being marked as reserved but stand vacant for days.
