We stay for 5 days it’s a very well kept campground. Staff is very pleasant and friendly. The staff there was very busy, painting, power washing the sites and wash the picnic tables and clean the electric towers. It’s a great place to spend a few days.

Always a joy camping at Ortona South. The breezes there makes it pleasant and keeps bugs away. I love watching boats go through Ortona Lock and was fortunate to have seen manatees in the Lock with the boats. Otters, Alligators and birds are a joy to watch. There is the opportunity to meet people from around the USA.

Beautiful, relaxing campground. Watch boats going through the lock and we saw manatees swimming by the dam. May visit again someday.

A very nice, quiet stay. Clean bath house, ample spacing between sites, no rowdy neighbors. Just a releaxing place to sit and read at the campsite. Even got to see a boat transit the lock and an otter run past the campsite.
