I'd give it 5 stars if they would fix the fishing pier. This is our fifth year coming here and the the second year the bridge has been closed. So disappointing! One of the draws for Ortona South was the pier. To fish or just watch the wildlife on the water. Other than that disappointment, the park is beautiful.

This is a very nice quiet campground. Most of the people are retired. The waterfront sites are beautiful. It will be even nicer once they fix the fishing pier.

Well kept campground. Large size paved sites. My only complaint is that the flood lights at the bathrooms are so bright during the night that it bothered my sleep.

What a beautiful campground. Fun to watch the occasional boat go through the lock, plus good birdwatching and even some otters to see. Well kept and very clean; nice host and staff. Recommend highly. Plus some good places in LaBelle if you want to get out for a bite.
