The maintenance man on duty could not of been more helpful. My first time reserving a site , he walked me through the online process. The place was immaculate shower amazing.

I only had the pleasure of staying for one night on my way out of the area, but it was the best stay I’ve had so far (and my first in the Everglades).
The entire campground and facilities were all very clean and everything worked and looked like it was being maintained by someone(s) who care. The water was good, temp nice, pressure nice, and the whole shower space was very big so you could keep your items in there without getting them wet. They also have a changing room, and extra space on the counter next to the sinks.
I had the pleasure of seeing a couple of the resident gators (reminds me of home) which were very much avoiding people and just living their best lives (as they should). It’s always a good reminder to say, do *not* feed the wildlife, gators included, they are not pets and should never associate humans with food.
Now that the PSA is out of the way, there is an off road vehicle trail close to the campsite I stayed at, nbd, but good to know. You can also hear road traffic sometimes.
Overall it was a very peaceful experience. I’m definitely going back next time I’m in the area, because it has such well kept grounds, great ambiance, beautiful nature, lots of birds, sleek gators, and the host was also quite nice. I almost didn’t want to leave a review because I selfishly don’t want it to be full whenever I come back lol

It's so beautiful and peaceful there. We stop for two nights twice a year as we drive from Michigan to the Keys and back. We both love it.

Lovely setting. Quiet and accessible to all there is to do in the area (which isn’t much, except for all the nature exploration). Strong internet connectivity.
