Very clean, quiet campground. Campground hosts were knowledgeable and friendly. Especially liked the clean dishwashing area with hot and cold water. Easy to see wildlife and a fascinating number of birds right near the camp ground entrance.

Monument Lake was a beautiful place to stay for 10 nights. Wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed walking around the lake, fishing and building campfires. No shore power. The fresh water and dump station were on the grounds of Midway Campground. We dumped and refilled twice during our stay. The grounds were very well-groomed and the camp hosts were very accommodating. Cell coverage good with ATT hotspot. We will stay again in the future.

Very quiet and peaceful stay. Nearest fresh water and dump station is about 9 mi away at Midway Campground. Definitely gators in the lake! Drive the Loop Road (almost 25 mi) to see more gators and some beautiful birds.

Great location within Big Cypress preserve. Clean bathrooms and shower, level tent sites that didn't form puddles despite lots of rain, quiet, and central location for area activities. Would definitely return!

Lovely campground with a beautiful lake with shorebirds and a few resident alligators. Especially enjoyed the Loop Road.
Saw lots of the Everglades close up.
Have some great pictures if you want some, tell me how to send them.
