Monument Lake Campground

Nice campground right off route 41. All the RV sites are around the lake which provides a nice 3/4 mi walk to start your day. It was dry camping with no dump but water is available and a dump is 8 mi down the road at Midway campground. Cell service is 5 bars. Very nice campground. Very nice experience. We will go back!

Great little campground - clean restrooms, friendly camp host and a pretty cool Ranger talk. Site 4 is a perfect spot for a large family - lots of extra room

I enjoyed my stay, the sites were large enough. It was quiet, though some generators were running during the day. I wasn't near them though. I wish I'd known about the wet walk and some other activities earlier but I was only there for 2 night so I didn't have time. I enjoyed the video at the visitor center down the road and driving the Loop Road.

Stayed for 3 days in site #30. Our coach has solar and a generator, so it wasn't difficult being that the campground has no electrical service at the sites. Water fill on the way in by the bath house. The bath house was very well attended and clean. We enjoyed taking a couple of drives on the Big Cypress Loop Rd. just down from the campground. Also close to Everglades City. Sites were well spaced and level.

We love this campground. It’s quiet and dark at night, the restrooms are just fine, you can walk around the lake carefully with your pet and get a little exercise, and the hosts are always incredibly friendly.

Very peaceful and the cleanest bathrooms ever!

Beautiful sunsets on the lake, showers are hot and clean, quiet with great views, nicely spaced sites and excellent cell service. Really enjoyed activities via the park service, Emily is fun and a fabulous instructor. Road in the campground needs attention though.
