I stayed in pull-through site #4 over 5 nights. Spacing was adequate with a gravel base and although my preference of electrical pedestal & water source location toward a more centered spot would be ideal, it's totally doable. One more critique, sewer inlet access closer to the ground would be especially helpful for lower sitting RVs/travel trailers. Several restaurant choices are nearby in PSJ and 30ish minutes away in Apalachicola, then don't forget Mexico Bch. Hwy 98 is a block away with constant traffic flow but surprisingly the buffer of trees and structures in between make any potential noise a non-issue.
The jewel of the rv park experience was the host Jason!! Friends a couple sites over had an electrical short to the power cord. Jason was helpful in offering troubleshooting and tools, but when all attempts were exhausted, he provided contacts to mobile services that got the job done. What I also liked about Jason was although never intrusive, he seemed always available and showing up with a positive energy. In our conversations, he shared different projects that he had in mind to enhance the park which I felt was rather unique to a host. I 100% would be open to booking a spot again in the future.

We stayed 10 days in site #13 and enjoyed every minute of this clean, quiet, friendly RV park. Jason & Cindie are wonderful park hosts and we enjoyed interacting with them and other park guests, too. Our dog was welcome, too, and we appreciate that. We’d definitely choose this RV if we’re traveling in the area again!

I was here in 2025 and back in 2026. Nice, clean, and quiet. 5 minutes from town. Easy to shop.

Just got home from spending 7 days in this awesome RV park. Perfect location between Port St Joe and Mexico Beach. Sarah and Isaac are fantastic owners/host. Campground very clean with a good spot to walk your dog with poop bags provided. Bath house was very clean with a good hot shower. Sites are wide with full hook up. Thanks guys for the wonderful stay. We will be back!

Aqua Bay RV Resort in Port St. Joe is a hidden gem! It’s right off Hwy 98, close to the beach, and meticulously maintained. Although it’s on the smaller side, it’s CLEAN, neat, and quiet — exactly what we were looking for.
This isn’t one of those campgrounds full of seasonal clutter; it’s a well-kept, peaceful park where anyone would be happy to stay. Port St. Joe itself is an adorable little town, and you’re just a little over an hour from Panama City Beach (don’t skip this one!).
We were greeted on arrival by Isaac and also spoke with his wife, Sarah — both fantastic camp hosts who made us feel welcome right away. Each site includes full hookups, a sturdy (nice/clean!) picnic table, a gravel patio, and a parking spot for your toad.
We’d highly recommend this affordable, beautifully maintained RV park for anyone visiting Port St. Joe!
