Lone Pine RV Park (Age Restricted 45+)

The park itself is ok. The crushed seashell for the sites is annoying and get on everything. Especially after a rain storm. The camp host Adina was super sweet and helpful.

The camp host was more than gracious as the spot we had picked had an electric issue. The new section of the park is very nice - spacious and level. There was a new pickleball court just installed. The area is great for walking and there is a park about 1.5 miles - an easy bike ride.

There is a newer, nicer section and an older part. The place is decent enough, but a little more weed-eating and cleanup around permanent residences would have gotten it five stars. Tons of litter on the road just outside the entrance, but we got it cleaned up. Hope it stays.

My boyfriend and I moved here back in October of 2025 and really have no complaints and love it. The lady, Adina, that runs the place is awesome! She is right on top of any issues that may arise or anything needed and keeps this place running smoothly and pleasant as can be. Anytime something was needed and I contacted her I received a response, whether by phone or coming to my camper within 10mins.The cost is very reasonable for lot rent and Adina reads the meters every month for your electric which is also reasonable and never an issue since we been here. The town its in is a small nice town that has plenty of stores and restaurants near by and is only about 20-30 minutes from Tampa, depending on traffic. We love the fact that we are out of the city in a slower pace town but close enough to the city for when we want to go out. The park is like it's own little community here and you become like family! They have bonfire night every Friday and Saturday, when allowed, and it is really enjoyable to get to meet your fellow campers. Everyone gets along great and looks out for each other. My boyfriend and I always say it feels like taking a step back in time when everyone knew, looked out for, and helped their neighbors. Thats one of the reasons we decided to become long term. There is a dog park as well on the old side by the bonfire pits. The only things I I would say arent good isn't anything really big but would be useful. The owner decided to add a whole nother park on the opposite side of the old one but I really dont think he thought some things through. He put in a pickle ball court and I was told he is making a game room for a camp ground that is 45+. I've seen one person use the pickle ball court since it was put in and they been working on the game room for a few months now so not sure what that is going to entail. He would have been better off putting in a new community bon fire place and another dog park since the only one is on the back side of the old park and very small. They allow dogs here and a new dog park would have been nice as well as a upgraded and bigger community bon fire area since it would definitely be used and enjoyed more so then a pickle ball court and game room. Also, there are only 4 washers and 4 dryers which was hard enough to be able to find open to use before the new park opened. Now with like 100 more campers its horrible and never opened. For someone like me that works all day during the week, and Saturday or Sunday being the only days I have to do wash, its impossible to get my wash done and utilize the pleasure of not having to load my wash to go to a laundry mat. Most of the time I have to wait until 9-10pm to do it or go to the laundry mat. It would have been a lot better if he added at least another 4 washers and dryers, more if possible, so it wouldn't be a race to do wash. Only good thing is that, like any place you do wash, when someone decides to let their wash just sit holding up a machine for hours if you let Adina know she will be right on top of contacting that person so machine can be open for use.
