Juniper Springs Rec Area offers a clean, family-friendly environment with accommodating staff, making it a favorite camping spot for many visitors. The beautiful springs and well-maintained campsites enhance the overall experience, although some facilities show signs of disrepair, and issues with ticks and noise can arise. Very nice camp sites, although I prefer to camp where there are flush toilets and running water. At least the porta potties were clean and did not smell bad. I was able to take a nice bike ride down to the St. John's River. There is no attendant on duty and you are given a gate code to enter the camping area after you make your reservation. I finally figured out that you have to push in on the lock, not pull out, after you enter the code. In the past I had to depend on another camper coming and helping me get the lock open.

The park is beautiful but not being mantained. Trails are not being fixed at all, more trails are closed every year without opening or repairing the other trails. Staffing not sufficient to pick up trash around the park or to keep the bathrooms clean. Roads are not repaired.

The staff were fine but the facilities and walkways etc ... need to be attended too. Sad how we spend money for Sesame Street in Iraq but can't keep our parks in usable condition 😪

The campground at Juniper Springs is well-maintained with nice fire rings and extra long picnic tables. Loved hearing the owls and coyotes at night!

It would be the best campground in the world if it had electricity. I love Juniper Springs for camping and paddling..

Juniper Springs is a beautiful and natural state park. It is well taken care of and great place to stay. Roads are nicely paved, campgrounds are clean, well marked and well equipped. They are far enough apart to get some privacy during your stay. There are several camping areas, which also allows campers to spread out. Staff is super.

I visited for the first time in February. I thoroughly enjoyed the park. Taking a dip in the spring was the highlight. I hope the boardwalk is repaired soon so it's possible to view all the areas. The campsites are spaced well. The bathroom was clean.
