Kayaking the Juniper Springs run was magnificent. Seven miles of pristine, crystal clear, 72° water winding through a silent and unspoiled landscape. We were there when the water level was high and there was a nice current to push us along, with even a tiny rapid near the end of the trip. There are trees down on, in, and under the water which keeps your head in the paddling. They made the paddle even more interesting. It was fabulous.
The campsite was reasonably secluded with a nice firepit and table. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had great pressure and plenty of hot water. Top notch. I highly recommend.

Juniper Springs is one of our favorite campgrounds. The staff is wonderful, the spring is beautiful and the campsites are great. The Florida trail goes right by the park making endless hiking a possibility. When we stay here we do a day trip to Silver Springs which is only a 25 minute drive. At Silver Springs we can paddle board the whole day while enjoying monkeys and manatees.

I checked in on Thursday, and the bathroom was clean. When I checked out on Monday, the staff hadn't cleaned the bathroom. It was terrible – dirty and smelling intensely. Four days passed without any cleaning. The campsite itself was great in the spring, and the tent spots were excellent, but the problem is that they don't seem to care about maintaining the bathroom for the campers.

We had an amazing time. Campground and facility was clean and very well kept. Lifeguard at the Spring was attentive and it was clear that safety was her #1 priority. 10 out of 10 will definitely recommend.
