Ignore any bad reviews for this site - the views were breathtaking. The site is located under a canopy of extremely tall trees and is open on the front and right sides (which caused a previous bad review I saw on this site). Yet, behind the site is a dense forest, and although in the open, it is only visible to two other sites under the large canopy of trees. Absolutely loved it. Watch out for ticks and don't expect electricity.

The springs are lovely, and the campgrounds itself is nice, large trees and shaded. The staff was a joke. We checked in and received zero info, no pamphlets with rules or instructions. Just pointed to a map to show campsite. Then they drive over and get scolded for parking on the gravel driveway of the site, saying it’s a federal offense and talking on the Walkie-talkies about our “non-compliance” lol The sign says at the spring closes at sunrise (which was 8:09) they yelled at us for being there after it closes at 7:30… when we pointed out the sign, he just said “closes at 7:30”. Then the weekend came, never have I been surrounded in every direction with out of control partying, screaming, music, fights, well after dark into the early morning hours. No staff member on site, except once at 10:30pm he rode his golf cart through all of the chaos to tell the camper next door they couldn’t park their vehicle in the gravel lol.

We loved the campground. The setting is great, the natural pool a highlight. It was also nice that the grill had a grate so we could roast steaks. The showers etc. are simple but clean. All in all: a wonderful experience, close to nature. Thank you!

Beautiful park. The mill was closed passed the time it had said on the web site for repairs.

Fair, because it has great bathrooms, clean, and hot water. There was a big issue with the ticks. Everyone got ticks over their bodies. Service animals where flooded with those. Poor animals had to go to the vet to get checked. People had to take antibiotics because of it.
