My favorite Spring in Florida. Staff was awesome at park entrance. Trails are well marked and the bathrooms are well kept.
Had a great time as usual.

Everything in the campsite was good. But everything in the park was not available. Trails, canoe run, and literally nothing to do. Hopefully they get more focus on what to do in the park and don’t advertise if nothing can be done in the park.

The board walks used to be a major draw for camping here. They have not been open and accessible since the park has been managed by Adventure Ocala.
Kayaking is also a major reason to camp here. it would be nice to see a reverse haul service put back into place.

Nice park. No map and info at the entrance about walking trails etc.
It is not so easy to find your way around and know where to go.
The showers could use a facelift en for instance curtens

The facility is very nice and very well maintained. The bathrooms are spotless and the river is amazing. I only gave three stars because of the facilities' staff. Some staff members were very pleasant, but some others were not. The gentleman that runs the kayak launch site is very intense and starts barking orders as soon as you get out of your vehicle. I was trying to concentrate on making sure I packed all my gear and forgot some items in my truck because he was barking orders at me the entire time. Another incident happened while we were away on our paddle down the river. I received a phone call from the staff while paddling stating that they found a cooler left out and it need to be put away immediately. I explained it only contained water but they insisted it needed to be locked up. I gave them permission to put it in our bear box but I was aggravated that the staff was going through our campsite while we were away. All in all it is an amazing place to stay and explore and I will definitely return but I wish the staff was a little easier to get along with, after all we camp to get away and relax.
