Juniper Springs Rec Area offers a clean, family-friendly environment with accommodating staff, making it a favorite camping spot for many visitors. The beautiful springs and well-maintained campsites enhance the overall experience, although some facilities show signs of disrepair, and issues with ticks and noise can arise. Easy access to Florida Trail. Convenient bear boxes at each site. Sites are spacious and well-spaced.

Beautiful natural springs. Very helpful and friendly staff! However, very sad about the state of the trails along the beautiful spring. We were unable to enjoy it's spectacular beauty of the spring because the boardwalk was in disrepair. We were told there is no $$$ to fix it, so people are not permitted to use it.

Stayed for two nights. All the staff were very friendly. Our campsite was in the tent only loop and although the site it self was good they were too close together. I could literally hear our neighbor snoring at night. We Kayaked Juniper Run which was a highlight. We were disappointed some of the walkways were closed and in disrepair.

Loved the privacy of our site.Springs were too cold to go in. bathrooms were clean. Most people respected the noise level at night but always a few that do not.

I have been camping at Juniper springs campground for the last 25 years and have seen it deteriorate over the years with little or no repairs. The roads and travel camper sites asphalt is crumbling. The sites themselves, because of using a powered blower, rather than rake to remove debris at the sites, have created a hollowed area around the site that when it rains it holds water like a pool. The beautiful boardwalk has been closed for 6 years because some parts have collapsed. It would have been better to just keep it a dirt trail. The pavilions around the campsites have been closed for years. You have contracts with outside entities that you should, consider in the bid process, what type of improvements that outside company will undertake to get the contract

Pretty disappointing about Juniper Springs and the campground. Walkways closed, no canoe or kayak rentals so almost no activities to do inside the park. Only tent campgrounds are on top of each other without privacy between other campers. We had stayed in Alexander Springs previous years and it’s way much better experience than this one. We decided to give it a shot to Juniper for a change but now we know that it’s not worthy and we will not coming back.
