Perfect time of year to go to Juniper Springs! Went thru the week - weather was great, few people camping. Facilities were nice - very clean bathrooms, firewood available to purchase. Be sure to not park on the pavers or you could be fined - I was asked to move my truck. Plenty of hiking trails around - go explore!

How sad camping has become in our nations National Forests. What happened to the days when you could just pull up to the front check-in office and get an open site without a reservation. And why is it if you decide to stay an additional day, you are forced to make another reservation requiring another outrageous reservation fee. Don't bother going to the check-in office. They can no longer help you. And what happened to paper copies of the campgrounds. I don't want to take a picture of it.

Campground was well kept, check in was informative and pleasant. Many of the pavilions and shelters were roped off and in need of repairs. Kayak rentals are not happening, also. But this has been the case for several years now. It seems that things get closed, but there is not much effort to get them operational again.
It is great to have a tent only loop! Much appreciated for quiet and like-minded neighbors. After-hours staff was helpful and respectful. This is a special place.

A peaceful, serene and lovely park. Not much to do besides walk the trails, swim in the spring-fed pool and relax but that was wonderful... Sometimes it is good to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy nature and the company of your loved ones. This is a beautiful place to do that.

The main downside, which is out of the parks hands is the rainfall. Some of the canp grounds would get flooded. It'll be nice to know which ones do and don't get flooded butnagain out of the parks hands.

Good potential, but too many rules and closures to have fun.
