St. Lucie South is a beautifully maintained campground with a relaxing waterfront view, clean facilities, and friendly, helpful staff. Guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, wildlife, and spacious sites suitable for various camping needs. While the campground is small and reservations can be challenging, it offers a delightful escape for those looking to unwind and enjoy nature.

I heard about the COE campgrounds by fluke on YouTube. This was a good location, near I95 and on our trip down to Ft. Lauderdale. I wish that the COE website was more intuitive and easier to navigate as I’m not familiar with US geography. Even a paper brochure at the campground showing all of the locations would be very helpful.

We love this small campground on the canal. There is a walking trail at the end of the RV/Tent area, you can watch the boats go by, and see them go through the locks. This time, the walkway across the lock gate wasn't available, but there's a nice nature trail on the other side. Don't miss the Corps of Engineers visitors center down at the far end of the lock area!

Had boat slip for 12 days again. We really like this place and hope to continue to visit yearly again in the winter. Staff helpful and friendly.

visited family, visited the Seal Museum and enjoyed the camp site. Although it rained, it was fabulous!

Location was very good, we had a site on the waterfront. We’ve been to many COE’s and they’re all beautifully maintained, unfortunately St Lucie south was disappointing. Our site was very weedy and the fencing needed some maintenance. Maybe they’re just short handed here, too bad since the location is nice.

Wonderful, beautiful, quiet, clean. We stayed here on our sailboat. The showers were great!
