About St Lucie South
St. Lucie Campground provides a relaxing camping experience on the St. Lucie Canal, part of the 152 mi Okeechobee Waterway that spans South Florida from the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico. Campers can enjoy watching boats and the occasional manatee pass through the St Lucie Lock while sitting under the warm Florida sun.

Very nice RV spot on the canal. Check in was easy, back in was easy. Only stayed one night on our way home, but we’ll worth it.

All the help were overly friendly, so nice to meet people like that. They help us find places to go. They told us of the best places for eating out, We would highly recommend this place. Plenty of places to ride our bikes. No problems getting in and out with our 45' RV with 4 door Jeep in tow.

St. Lucie South is such a relaxing place to visit. The staff is very accommodating and because there are so few sites, it’s a very comfortable environment. The hiking trails on the far side of the river are excellent.

From I-95, take Exit 101 (Stuart/Indiantown), following SR 76 W for 0.5 mi to Locks Road.
Turn right onto Locks Road for 1.3 mi to SW Canal Street and turn left into the campground.
