The view of the water was very relaxing.
Watching the fish 🐟 jump in the morning & evening.
The site ( rv3) was accommodating for our 17 ft casita.

I live within 20 mi of St Lucie South - but it is still my favorite campground, and may be the best in the country. It is relaxing yet so close to amenities that you can either do nothing or a lot.

Location is lovely, right off I95 and easy to access. the place is clean and beautiful. People are very helpful and pleasant.

This campground is one of our favorite places to go. It is very clean & a peaceful experience every time we go. The staff is wonderful & friendly!
The camp spots are spaced out nice and not on top of each other. It is a small campground which is a perfect quiet get away, (right on the St. Lucie Canal) it is enjoyable watching the boats go up & down the canal & into the locks. Then every night around 7pm we watched a big alligator swimming down the canal minding his own business just like clock work.

St Lucie South is a very clean and well maintained camp ground. We were on a concrete pad that did require us to lift one side by 1.5 inches to become level side to side. The sites along the canal give an epic view of the canal and boats passing by. The city of Stuart is nearby with a lot of great dining available especially along the water front. We will definitely return.

From I-95, take Exit 101 (Stuart/Indiantown), following SR 76 W for 0.5 mi to Locks Road.
Turn right onto Locks Road for 1.3 mi to SW Canal Street and turn left into the campground.
