Ramblers Rest RV Resort

This RV park reminds me of old world Florida. Most sites are on grass, there are tall native trees, 6 ponds, 1 alligator and many rivers views. The office staff was very nice and helpful. Lots of daily activities were available. It is kid friendly. There are only 2 negatives, construction on the road making it challenging to turn out of the RV park and
WiFi is not included. The recent hurricanes damaged many units, some have been repaired, some are being repaired and a few looked abandoned. Places were up for sale from $8500 to $89,900 based on signs we saw. We will definitely stay here on our next trip.

I needed to cancel a reservation made yesterday... with 24 hrs. called to cancel because of unforseen incident.
Rambling resort.. thousand trails..Rv on the Go... retained a $750 deposit.. said i didnt cancel with 45 days... I made it yesterday.. within the 45 days. ...did not say no refund !
Do NOT GET ROPED INTO THESE COMPANYS... They just steal the money.
Worst camping experience in 35 yr.!

This is a very quiet park. Their bathrooms. Bathhouses and laundry rooms after very clean and up to date. To wash clothes it is a fair price. The dryers are very nice only had to dry my clothes once and they were very dry and it was a load with hoodies. Right on the river and close the beaches. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in your rv or looking to rent a cabin.. everyone is friendly. There was even a library to where you can build a puzzle or read a book. A nice pool to go for a swim and even play tennis. This place has lots to do.,

We stayed here for 35 days in our 40 ft. Motorhome. Site was level gravel. Full hook up. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The facilities were extremely clean and well kept. Grounds were maintained amd in excellent shape. They do have concrete pads at some sites.

We just spent two weeks with our Rv at Ramblers Rest. It was great. Staff was so nice and informative. Check-in was a breese. The pool area was so nice and clean. The sites were very spacious ours was shaded with beautiful trees. The fishing off the dock was great. The laundry room was the best I have used on the road. The bathroom/ shower are suites. So shower toilet sink all behind one door. Then there was the dog park. Our dogs loved going to the dog park to run and play. We cannot wait to come back. The only down side which is no ones fault is the road construction going to the resort. Trying to get out of there during rush hour was very difficult. Again not their fault.
