The campground is so beautiful and extremely well cared for. The sites are not too close together. And the Host, Brenda, is so very nice and helpful. Definitely coming back.

I almost hate to give this review, it's getting harder and harder to reserve a space. But here it goes. Petersburg Campground is simply my favorite place. Practically all sites with unlimited water view and access, immaculately groomed and cleaned after each camper, spaces far enough apart to ensure privacy, 50amp hookups, shall I go on? On top of all that, this place is excellently run by the current host campers, and I look forward to seeing them again in the spring.
So thanks, Corps of Engineers for this (and other) campgrounds, we appreciate all of them.

The property and sites were clean and well maintained. Most sites were lakefront. We had gorgeous western sunsets over the lake each night. The shower houses were substandard, in dire need of maintenance, cleaning and updating.

It was a fabulous campground! Almost every site was pull through and on water. We did not use the bathrooms or showers.
