The campground could use some cleaning up. The weeds chest are high and grass growing on the camping pads. Very disappointed at the state of this campground.

Weather was very hot in August, but site was shady in morning and afternoon, mid-day was toasty. be prepared for lots of ants that are smart about pathways into rigs! Boric acid around legs and duct tape around hoses and power cord work great (sticky side out), just make sure that it is a tight fit. Water level in lake was about 10' low but still could handle boating in inlet. Lake is nice and clean except right near shore where waves create cloudiness. Petersburg is great for bike riding to get exercise - riding all the loops is 3+ miles.

Care Takers were very pleasant; however, campground was in poor condition. Very little grounds maintenance. We were told that grounds contractor did not show up when suppose to. Overall, a pleasant experience.
