The camp hosts were all very nice and welcoming. Park is nice, needs some sprucing up from the hurricane damage. Very glad it is back open.

Great campsite. All the primitive spots are waterfront, with direct access to the lake. I walked straight down from my site with my paddleboard which is an incredible amenity. The primitive peninsula has a pit toilet. Full bathrooms are off the peninsula but still in walking distance. Absolutely plan to return.

Campground was clean and neat. Staff was helpful
I did notice that the provided electrical service was at 113 volts when we arrived and at 105 volts when the service quit two days later.

This was such a nice campsite. The site we stayed at was so big. We appreciated that it had a grill and direct access to the lake. And the puppies loved it as well.

One of our fav campgrounds! The storm took out so many trees but still beautiful. Lost power one night but Georgia Power was on it and got it back on that night. People do drive way too fast through the campground. Would appreciate a way to control that more.
The hosts were all very nice! Women’s bath house clean and well functioning. Happy to have Ridge Road open again!

This stay at RR was my first since Hurricane Helene devastated the CSRA. Site13 was hit hard by Helene with most of the tree canopy gone. There are some trees, but they are sparse. The view of the lake was fantastic !! The rest rooms and shower facilities for "Men" were kept very very clean. I was impressed 👍. I love RR and will be going back again & again. One day, I hope that RR will be open for winter season camping.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers should be aware that 2 dead pines between sites 13 and 14. One of the pines could hit a site's RV and the other could hit the transformer and electrical distribution disconnects for several sites.

our time there was ok. We love Ridge Rd been going for over 50 years. The down side is the water is to low makes a mess its not fun when your in red clay water and get stuck all the time. Something needs to be done about how low the water gets.
