Disappointed the campground had been “controlled burned” throughout the whole campground. Fully understand the approach but would have appreciated a heads up prior to arrival.

We go to Winfield three or four times a year and have never had any bad experiences. Perfect sites on the lakes edge and great fishing.
Nanette in the front gatehouse and Tonya working the campgrounds are both special people. Super friendly and helpful in every way.
We are booked for three more stays this year so far and may work in another if possible.
We are in a Motorhome and have no trouble navigating anywhere in the campgrounds.

Park and the size of the sites are great. However the host there are by far the worst people to deal with. As much as I like this park it will be one of the last ones I choose in the upcoming years until these host moves or leaves.

Everyone was so personable and make you feel at home. The sites were clean and kept well. The staff checked on our well being during the heavy rain we had that affected Augusta and surrounding areas. Love Winfield!!

Your staff there Nanette and Tonya are fabulous! They are the best hosts of all the campgrounds we have been to.

Two things to improve on would be gray water at the campsite and a fish cleaning station.

Your parks are very reasonably priced and are well maintained.

Nice, large sites. Almost all waterfront. Great for boaters/fishermen.

The ladies that run the campground are always nice and accommodating. The sites are exceptionally clean, bathrooms are clean, sites are large and private, and most of them pull through water front sites. This is our favorite campground.
