This is a great place to hold a Club event. Our Corvette club holds it annual picnic here. The two larger pavilions have power a permanent charcoal grills. The rental fee is reasonable. There I the usual Georgia Parks entry fee of $5 but the money helps support the park.there is plenty of pace for young people to play and have field games. There is plenty of parking and Restroom facilities.

One of the most beautiful parks I've ever visited. A true hidden treasure. Visiting our son in Georgia and he brought us to Carter's Lake. WOW just WOW definitely coming back. Well cared for and amazing.

This is a beautiful place to visit! The views are spectacular! It offers a wide range of activities. There's a playground for the kids, benches to sit and rest & enjoy the views, basketball hoops for game or shooting around, pavilions small and large for gatherings and grills for cookouts as well as sidewalks along the perimeter for walking or jogging. I am absolutely in love with this place!

There was no running water in this park, neither in toilets nor in any of the water fountains. We had reserved 2 shelters for a party of 100+ folks including small children and had a hard time without any water on the facility. I’d look elsewhere to arrange a party of this scale next time.

Our club picnic was a success and the Northbank pavilion we had reserved was full to capasity. The new grill worked out perfictly for us. As far as a recommendation, it may be time to update some of the tables, but nothing was unuseable. We look forward to doing again next year.
