Our club picnic was a success and the Northbank pavilion we had reserved was full to capasity. The new grill worked out perfictly for us. As far as a recommendation, it may be time to update some of the tables, but nothing was unuseable. We look forward to doing again next year.

Nice picnic area, walking path, play ground and views of dam and surrounding lake and reservoir. There are water fountains and out houses vs. bath rooms.

Everything was great with one exception. It appears that the grills have been used for many years and are in need of some maintenance. The grates are warped and in bad shap. it appears that people in the passed have been using rocks to help level the charcoal grates. Other than that all was good. Our Club had a great time and we have all agreed to plan for another one next year.

Everything was in good condition! I reserved this pavilion for my sons first birthday and it was perfect! Other than the fact that it was SUPER windy. Haha but overall experience was good.

The entire Carter's Dam and Lake area was the best part of my 3-day birthday trip. The lake was so beautiful and the Northbank Park gave the best views of both the lake and the dam. The two overlook areas near the Nature Center had nice views as well. The clerk at the Nature Center could have shown a little professionalism. He never addressed me as I came in because he was sleeping on the desk with his phone audio loud blasting a football game. The Northbank Park has a basketball court, a few covered pavilions, a volleyball net, a paved sidewalk that goes around the perimeter of the park and several overlook areas where you can view the lake and the dam better.

We rented both shelters at Northbank May 7th We asked to have the power fixed on the small shelter and it was not fixed. We have it rented in September as well we rent it every September for our reunion if it is not fixed this year we will not rent here again. Also when it is rented they need to be sure to cut the grass.

Directions were not accurate and the shelters are marked with numbers that were not on our reservation. The tables were dirty so bring a table cloth. The park was great and so were the views. Clean and well kept.
