We really enjoyed the site! Great views of the lake and everything was well kept. The spots were pretty open and close compared to some other sites so if that is important to you then take that into consideration. I’m looking forward to going back and hiking as well!

Loved my 2 nights of primitive camping site #14. I didn't understand why there wasn't anybody camping this time of the year. The fishing was nice. And the lake has huge bass in it.

I just love this place. Great Campground with excellent T-Mobile internet. I don't know that I've ever been here when there wasn't availability. They just switched over to having to book it online though. With the government shutdown I wasn't able to do that.

We were only one of two sets of campers and the other set of campers that were on the opposite end we're without a car, dirty, and all in our campsite wanting to get in our car to charge phones. They gave us a story that didn't add up and with nobody else around we toe down campers immediately after getting done setting up due to feeling very uncomfortable with no other people anywhere around if something happened to us. We were told the police would make a pass through at some point through the night but it wasn't reassuring at all with my son with me. Ended up with nowhere to stay for the night and no offer for a refund when we expressed how uncomfortable the group made us. They need someone to regularly check the area and raise the price a little so some rough individuals don't just hunker down there. We were told they were there over a week already. If something were to happen to us that night it might have been a day or more before anyone knew. Place didn't feel safe at all and it's ashame because it was beautiful there.

Always love camping here but for whatever reason this time yellow jackets were everywhere. Actually got stung.

It was beautiful and quiet. Camp site #1 has always been one of my favorite spots at Woodring.
