We absolutely love Carters Lake , in the summer time this is our home away from home. We reserved woodring day use area for our son’s 1st Birthday and for out daughter 11th birthday. The only complaint I have , is that when we got there they were people whom was acting like we did not make a reservation because the ranger had not posted reserve on the sign yet. So there was some words from the other party that made my husband uoset, we showed them were we had reservations online and had to call , they sent a ranger to put a sign on the board for us, but this when have been so much easier if it was already posted when it was suppose to be. Either way we still enjoyed our children’s birthday party and the outdoors.
